Uncle Dave's Cool Looks

Hi guys. The children have been begging me to put their favorite photo from our trip up to Idaho to summer up on the site. Every time they see this photo they laugh. Can you say a bit conceded Dave? The kids say it looks like Uncle Dave is checking himself out in the mirror and thinking that he is pretty hot stuff. I have to admit I had to check the picture out closer to figure out what he was really doing. However, it made itself in our family scrapbook of favorite memories. We hope you enjoy this as much as we do.

mouth problems

Hi everyone,sorry i haven't been able to write you but I am know.          

I just had surgery on my mouth yesterday,Nov. 21,2008, It was painful!

They cut right above my Incisors

Allan's Cobra Almost Done

Well guys, after some painfull months (arguably years) and stress finding parts, tracking things down, and waiting, and all the blood, sweat, and tears that goes into a project like this... With the exception of some minor fine tuning, my car is almost back to where it should be.

Its not done yet.... but I look forward to showing it to you all personally for its unveiling soon, maybe by Thanksgiving???? I hope it will be worth all the blood and treasure when its done.

I think when you see it in person you'll agree what a nice job has been done on its workmanship.

 This picture was taken September 20, 2008.  Marsha is 60 years old and Roland 68 years old.  We are still healthy and excited about our life.  We have been married for almost 25 years.  Wow!  We have loved every minute of our life together.

Manna from Heaven

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

I've been thinking about the Israelites who wondered the desert for 40 years.  During a dark and sparse time they went before the Lord and prayed for food.  The Lord responded by feeding His people with manna. 

I have wondered what it must have been like to be facing starvation and yet have faith enough to have the Lord send manna.  It's difficult to pray and have faith your prayers will be answered when everything inside you knows it would take a miracle to change ones situation.  Yet the Israelites knew they would be saved from certain death.

When faith and prayer are mixed together much can be accomplished.  I have a testimony in the power of prayer and faith.  The Lord will watch over those who faithfully request help in all their doings.
